So I'm working away today, and making calls (I always make a ton of calls in the morning), answering emails, just getting caught up from the day/night before etc etc.
Having my coffee having a smoke etc etc .

On the big plasma, I have VH1 Classic and they are showing all of the classic rock video's. "Too Young to fall in Love" by Motley Crue is on right now.
So yeah I'm getting all pumped up, although it could be that pesky fourth cup of coffee.

Anyhow all of these video's are really taking me back to when I was a kid. Yes, many, many, many years ago, haha.

I used to go over my friend Steve's house and hang out and watch MTV.
We didn't have the Guitar Hero Video game; Oh how I wish, man life would have turned out different.
But what Steve did have was a shit ton of Lego's. I mean he had like millions of them. So we would sit around through the crap that MTV would play (everyone thinks that MTV always played a lot of cool stuff, but me tell you there was a lot of crappy Lionel Ritchie stuff on there). So while that trype was on, we would be constructing mega guitars out of Lego's!

Really cool ones, with wa wa bars and everything.
It would usually take us awhile to complete a really good axe. And by the time we were done, a good rock/metal video would come on. And boy would we jam out.
Of course the coolest thing about Lego guitars would be the great smash up at the end of the solo.

And then we would start over rebuilding them, while 'ole MTV played "Come on Elien" for the 6 billionth time. And we would wait paitently to jam out again.
